Una Noche de Compañerismo y Gratitud: Resumen de Nuestra Cena Comunitaria
Nuestra Cena Comunitaria fue un hermoso encuentro de fe, compañerismo y gratitud. La noche comenzó a las 7:00 PM, cuando las familias llegaron con una gran variedad de platillos deliciosos para compartir. Con más de 100 personas presentes, el ambiente se llenó de conversaciones, conexión y un fuerte sentido de comunidad.
El Pastor Josué dirigió una oración antes de la cena. La comida fue una increíble combinación de platillos. ¿En qué otro lugar puedes disfrutar lasaña, pollo frito y enchiladas en el mismo plato? ¡Y eso sin mencionar la increíble mesa de postres!
Después de la cena, el Pastor Josué reflexionó sobre el año pasado, agradeciendo a todos por su apoyo y compromiso con la iglesia en 2024. También compartió la visión para 2025, destacando dos palabras clave para el liderazgo de la iglesia:
Fiel—Determinados, comprometidos con honrar y obedecer a Dios, y
Fructíferos—continuamente produciendo buenos y útiles resultados.
La noche continuó con actualizaciones sobre los ministerios de nuestra iglesia:
Ministerio de Niños: Mayra López compartió la misión del ministerio de guiar y formar a los niños en la fe, inspirándose en Proverbios 22:6. Expresó su gratitud a los voluntarios e invitó a más personas a sumarse.
Ministerio de Jóvenes: Saúl Guerrero resaltó cómo los jóvenes han aprendido a amar como Jesús a través del estudio Love Walked Among Us y su participación con otros grupos juveniles.
7/10 Jóvenes Adultos: El Pastor Josué explicó cómo este grupo ha crecido y ahora cuenta con su propio estudio bíblico, profundizando su relación con Dios y la iglesia.
Centro Comunitario El Puente: Rachel Jia habló sobre el impacto del centro, donde se enseñan inglés, español y civismo a más de 60 estudiantes. Pidió apoyo continuo y oración por esta labor.
Ministerio de Hospitalidad: Josh Smith agradeció al equipo por hacer que todos se sientan bienvenidos y enfatizó la importancia de servir con atención y calidez.
Finanzas de la Iglesia: Jeff Hutt compartió que 2024 fue un año de bendición financiera y presentó un panorama del presupuesto para 2025.
Ministerios de Mujeres y Hombres: Lynne Paasch y el Pastor Mike Paasch animaron a más personas a participar en el Ministerio de Mujeres Koinonía y el Ministerio de Hombres Amigos, ambos espacios de crecimiento y conexión.
Ministerio de Consejería: Lynne Paasch destacó la importancia del apoyo emocional y mental, ofreciendo ayuda para enfrentar desafíos como la ansiedad, la depresión y dificultades en las relaciones.
El Pastor Josué también reconoció la labor de Immigrant Hope, el trabajo administrativo de Maricela de la Rosa y el mantenimiento de las instalaciones a cargo de Rodrigo de la Rosa. Oramos por cada ministerio, pidiendo la dirección de Dios para el futuro.
Antes de concluir, el Pastor Josué presentó la nueva aplicación móvil de Redemption Mesa, diseñada para mantener a todos informados sobre eventos y noticias de la iglesia. Se compartieron instrucciones para descargarla.
La noche cerró con una oración final, dejando a todos animados y emocionados por lo que viene en 2025. Nuestra iglesia sigue comprometida a ser fiel y fructífera, continuando en el servicio y crecimiento juntos.

A Night of Fellowship and Gratitude: Recapping Our Community Dinner
Our Community dinner was a wonderful gathering of faith, fellowship, and gratitude. The evening began at 7:00 PM as families arrived with a variety of delicious dishes to share. With over 100 people in attendance, the room was filled with conversation, connection, and a strong sense of community.
Pastor Josue led us in prayer before the meal. Dinner was an incredible mix of dishes. Where else can you get lasagna, fried chicken, and enchiladas on the same plate? Not to mention an amazing dessert table!
After the meal, Pastor Josue reflected on the past year, thanking everyone for their support and commitment to the church in 2024. He spoke about the vision for 2025, emphasizing two guiding words for our church's leadership: Faithful— determined, committed to honoring and obeying God, and Fruitful—continually producing good and helpful results.
The evening continued with updates on our church ministries:
Kids Ministry: Mayra Lopez shared the ministry’s mission to nurture and guide children in faith, inspired by Proverbs 22:6. She expressed gratitude for volunteers and invited more people to get involved.
Youth Ministry: Saul Guerrero highlighted how the youth have been learning to love like Jesus through Love Walked Among Us and their engagement with other youth groups.
7/10 Young Adults: Pastor Josue shared how this group has grown and now has its own Bible study, deepening their connection with God and the church.
El Puente Community Center: Rachel Jia spoke about the center’s work teaching English, Spanish, and Civics to over 60 students, asking for continued support and prayers.
Hospitality Ministry: Josh Smith thanked the team for making everyone feel welcome and emphasized the importance of serving others with attentiveness.
Church Finances: Jeff Hutt shared that 2024 was a year of financial blessing and provided an overview of the budget plan for 2025.
Women’s & Men’s Ministries: Lynne Paasch and Pastor Mike Paasch encouraged more participation in Koinonia Women’s Ministry and the Amigos Men’s Ministry, both providing spaces for connection and growth.
Counseling Ministry: Lynne Paasch highlighted the importance of mental and emotional support, offering help for challenges like anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles.
Pastor Josue also acknowledged Immigrant Hope, administrative efforts by Maricela de la Rosa, and facilities maintenance by Rodrigo de la Rosa. Prayers were offered for each ministry, seeking God’s guidance for the future.
Before closing, Pastor Josue introduced the new Redemption Mesa mobile app, designed to keep everyone informed about events and church news. Instructions were shared for downloading the app.
The night concluded with a final prayer, leaving everyone encouraged and excited for what lies ahead in 2025. Our church remains committed to being faithful and fruitful, continuing to serve and grow together.
